Apophysis 7x, Photoshop for color/contrast adjustments (I should start using Chaotica instead!)And now I'm back to posting less than one fractal each month due to studying a lot

Fascinating! Had I not seen that it was labeled a fractal, or that you used Apo, I probably would have never guessed it to be one. The lighting, focus, and coloration each are extraordinary. Beautiful work!

I don't know what to say, this is one fractal I keep returning to look at just because of how dreamlike it is, and the wisps are also very provoking to my imagination.Β The red dots are the icing on the cake.Β Β I swear this thing should be more popular than it is, but what am I to say about understanding how popularity works
I've tried a few attempts at reverse engineering this, though I wound up with other stuff that distracted me from keeping pursuing this, and I'd love to see how you did it if the offer in some of the previous comments is still valid :3

I used bubble, spherical, eyefish, etc.Β And then julia3D as well as julian2 on the final xform.
