Okay. As You can see, I obviously didn't bother to gray out Rio's first evolution, but hey, whatevs.

Okay. As an explination of the name, (obviously) neither of these two have that ability, but rather, they are called so because Nika is a fire type and rio's hidden power is (in my depiction) much like a very powerful version of flash, that can blind the enemy and perhaps cause minimal damage. it's more for show, really.

Nika is the leader of this rescuer group, she can be rash and often loud, but when it comes to understanding others or getting the job done, she's on it.
Rio is a kind and helpful shinx luxio, and he is generally liked by all. he knows quite a lot because his mother, a leopard named Cleopatra, ran a very well known club called 'Cat Caverns'.

"Nika is the leader. she and Rio have been friends since she was thrown out of the CatCaverns which was an underground group that consisted of mostly felines, except for the exceptions anyways, he left because he thought it was unfair, and the two have been best friends ever since. Nika is quick tempered and hotheaded. Rio is kind. exceptionally kind. he is also (still) doted on by Cleopatra (leader of catcaverns) which is a little awkward because Nika refuses to acknowledge her presence. other stuff..."

The bandana is Rio's and the weird thing I forgot to color is actually Nika's papermache flower, which is one of the few things she still has from home.
