My second attempt to draw more realistic anime ;;over the time I was away, I've tried some cleaner shading techniques and I'm really proud of myself

I'm not really one to judge someones art but, to be honest this is quite beautiful. The shading and lighting are really good and the picture itself is well drawn. The eyes somehow see a little low on the face , but have good depth. However, the picture itself is illuminated with beautiful colors that glow and are very well suited for the character. Although, there seems to be a little bit of a mess up on the sleeve, for the stitching, or, the lines for the little cuff part are going off into the sleeve making it look like stitches. But altogether the picture turned out quite lovely and amazing! I hope this helped somewhat. Have a nice day and keep up the wonderful work!^^

this is such a sweet drawing!! i love the colours you used and i love everything about this character in general. i like the technique you use for shading, it works just as well as blending. however, the shading on the ears looks a bit.. dirty? and there doesn't seem to be a particular light source on this drawing, the shading is everywhere the shadows fall, rather than where the light doesnt fall if you know what i mean. in order to improve this, i suggest trying to picture where the light will come from and putting light there and dark where the shadows fall. maybe looking at photographs will help. and i suggest adding more lighting rather than just putting random white dots. overall i think you are a wonderful artist with lots of talent and potential for the future!

I love this drawing! Everything is pretty much awesome! Maybe add more fur on the ears maybe. Sadly, I've seen OCS like this. But the OC is pretty! Nice warm colors and everything fits; the shading is every nice and you can tell whats going on. But there is no light source. I see lighting but its not placed right. If the light is on the left, it will be on the left, same as right. But in the center its more different, the light its on the right and the left corners, no where else. I hope this helped. Over all, nice drawing.

yep!! you improved! this is so cute and there is like nothing wrong with it! just one thing since this is a critque, maybe make the neck a little more thicker? i think this is totally not a big roblem because its like a cat fox or whatver it is i think you made it like intntionnally but since its kind of like human-ish idk so maybe make the neck a little proportional to the head? (This is not a problem if you intentionally did that though) also this is a bit confusing, which one is the eyebrows? or is there any eyebrows at all? because there is one right above the eye and one a little farther away. I think you meant the one closest to the eye as just expression but maybe make the real eyebrows more closer to the eye? Also if you intentionally tried to do a suprise or that kind of face this does not matter. Overall 100000/100!!!

Thanks for the critique! Most anime art styles make necks that skinny. At first I thought people draw them too skinny too lol, but now I see why.
Also the eye brows are higher up, the tiny lines over the eyes is like an eye lid. <3

oh, I just put airbrush then erased part of it with an airbrush eraser I can do a tutorial maybe

`d recommend trying watercolors beacause watercolor and airbrush+earser look almost the same but watercolor lets you dog that with just 1 brush but I`d still love to see anΒ in depth shading tutorial
