EDIT: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WAS CREATED AFTER THE FIRST BOOK, MAYBE SECOND BOOK, SO MANY DETAILS LIKE IGGY AND GAZZY'S WINGS WERE NOT KNOWN AT THE TIME.This is sort of a test pic of a series I might work on in the future.
These are the famous "bird" kids from James Patterson's Maximum Ride series. I have really enjoyed these books so far, they are an easy read and seem to be for all ages.
I tried to do my homework on their appearances and I think I've gotten pretty close to how I imagined them. Note: Iggy and Gazzy's wings have never been described in the books so I had to guess on their color.
Anyway, from left to right we have: Nudge, Max, Iggy (in the back), Angel, Gazzy, Fang, and that's little Total (the Scottie) in the front.
I hope y'all enjoy this one!
BTW, I don't own these guys, or the book, erm ... or James Patterson. No copyright infringment intended.

Those are accessory wings that I found by DBCAB on modthesims. I've made some that look a little better and are placed a little more realistically. They are also available on modthesims under my username of synapticsim.

hah! i made them on the sims 2 a while back as well.
so max and fang were a couple... then max had a baby O.O and then iggy and nudge were a couple and then i think fang cheated on max with nudge and they got married and then max and iggy got married and had another child.
and then angel and gazzy just hung out, really. i didn't have much plans for them.

Other than the fact that the wings are a bit low and Fang doesn't look...I dunno...mysterious/Fang-y enough, this is pretty good.

I agree, the wings were a bit low on this one. It was how the sims 2 wings mesh was made. Because of that I made my own wings mesh and recolored it to look like the different wing colorations from the books. Check the new pic out here [link]

These pictures are made using the game "The Sims 2". Wings aren't something that comes with the game. So a 3D mesh is required to give your sims wings, so that I could have Maximum Ride sims. But to get the right wings I had to make my own.

Yeah, since these are made with The Sims 2, it's hard to find the perfect wings and perfect hair. When I made this picture, the wings shown were the only ones available. Since then I've learned how to make my own meshes, so I made my own wings. I think these are more in line with what you were talking about. Check it out here:

I've tried to make their wings with the coloration as described in the books.
Can't really say much about Gazzy's hair. It's hard to find a definite description, even of Max's hair color.

Max has sandyblond hair, and gazzy's cow-lick means bangs that stick up, kinda like they were gelled.
