Description
in a dark abyss of painful thoughts, comes out a slightly brighter notebut the weight of the onslaught, shatters down all sense of hope
pencil sketch, scanned, blueprint, inked and shaded with micron 0.005, colored using painter 8 watercolors and photoshop cs, textured in photoshop cs, touch ups etc also. this was horribly long to do. i'm sort of glad of how it finally came out.

Man... I've never been able to pull off the comic thing. I can draw some neat characters, I just can't do it multiple times.
But this.. this is great.. this is, in all irony, inspiring. A comic, no words... very artistic. I love this. I'd buy a print of this if I had the money.
Amazing though, sorry I haven't been around lately... been working on other things.

yes, i know 'comic' might be a strange word for it, but as far as tagging it goes, i guess thats the option i had
im glad you like it.. this was in a way a test.. the ambiance, mood, conception, flow and positionning of the boxes, background, color, etc...
i wanted something anyone can relate to, brought out in a way no one can relate to
this is one of the very few things which im glad of how it came out
and yes... ironically, it did inspire me.. i was blocked before it, now i cant stop

actually, im thinking of going out with a few comic strips, probably all being one-page.. with a common theme, i mean, but all seperate.
when i've got enough of them i'll put em all together and print a 100 copies of it, and give it to whoever wants it till they're all gone
