So I got into Stargate Atlantis and developed a total crush for David Hewlett AKA Rodney McKay. So naturally, a bit of fanart was in order.

It's kinda... In a way I'm pleased, but it's a little wonky, you know? Like, things seem to be in place, mostly, but it just looks like someone else entirely. It's the eyes. And the mouth. And the chin. Haha. He looks a little Bill Murray-ish. It almost looks better in smaller resolution :/

May I just say, I really, really hate drawing hair?

And notice that the eyes are actually blue.

(Also, obviously drawn from a reference - it was a promo shot with the old uniform, everyone's probably seen it. Just Google Rodney McKay and it shows up, if you want to compare.
