About a month ago I finally got around to watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and fell in love with the series. I thought it had a great plot line, interesting character development and a few awesome twists along the way. I ended up speeding through all 3 series in a matter of days and when I got to the end I felt kinda saddened that it was all over.Being quite a few years behind any other fans of the show it wasn't easy to know who I could talk to about the series. So I decided to make some art to try and wind down from watching all the shows in quick succession to suddenly ending the whole adventure (at least with Aang).
I came up with this simple Avatar themed avatar and whilst using an OC version on my profile I got quite a few positive comments from passing fans. Now I have opted to use a different avatar I thought it would be nice to replace my OC and make a free for use avatar for anyone to use.

I just finished the first series of Korra and I see what you mean. The first 3/4 of the series was pretty naff, but the last few episode really picked up

Cute!~ <3 Especially like how you pixellated the Four Bending symbols so well. My favorite episode of the series was Hama,since I often like dark things,like Majora's Mask from the Zelda series.

This is the cutest Avatar thing I've ever seen!! If I wasn't so attached to the icon my friend made for me, I'd seriously want to use it.
Of course I adore the show, it's one of my favorites. I discovered the awesomeness of it the summer before the third season was set to air. So I got to experience the agony of waiting for a new episode each week. Then felt totally stunned when it was finally finished.

In a sense I feel lucky that I didn't have to wait. I sped through all 3 series in one go. Though the downside is I got to the end and didn't know who I could talk to about it since everyone watched it when it came out.

In a way, I wish I could have done that too. I stumbled across an episode of it on Nick one day and watched it. The next several weeks were spent watching whatever episodes of it Nick decided to air. Finally I bought the DVDs so I could be caught up before season three aired. Which was difficult in itself, as I was still in high school then and had to attend the football games (for marching band) and then rush home to try and see the new episode before I missed it.
