Back in 2010 I got rather sick and tired if the llama notifications which kept filling my inbox, and decided to make this stamp to vent some of the frustration. After a while I just chose to ignore them (helped by the intrioduction of an option to hide them) and as more time has passed, I forget that they are a feature of dA.But this stamp is around for anyone else that still feels llamas are a tad annoying. I don't care if people decide to give me a llama (trying to be 'funny' and giving me a llama has long grown old), so hit the button if you want. Just don't expect any in return

I tend to find most people that give them are using a script nowadays, so it's not like its really time wasted.

Sorry for the late reply, but I agree. I try to tell people to comment on my art but they don't care. I want people to tell me why they like my art or should I improve and not just clicking favorites or giving me llamas. I used to do faves and runs when I first started but I would rather spend more time commenting on different art. But llamas are not giving me any reason what should I improve on my art or what people find interesting about it besides I usually draw wildlife native to my home Louisiana.

It's nothing of artistic merit, and I don't beg for them, but I do appreciate them in a way. They are indeed for free, anyway, so what's the big deal?

The majority of the fun of them was contained to the time they were introduced for April fools and the period after. If they had come for a short time and disappeared they would be more accepted, but the fact they are still here just means anything special about them has vanished looooong ago.

I've nothing against llamas myself - I use them as a little compliment, to thank a person for the fave. However, just like you, I didn't expect them to last after the April Fools; thought they were sort of a small challenge - how many of them can one, hehe, herd in one day.
