Back in February I celebrated my 10th anniversary of joining dA and wanted to undertake a project to highlight some of my favourite memories from the years gone by. I came up with the idea for a memory book, with a range of 'Polaroids' capturing special moments, friendships and events. As the project is taking far longer than expected I decided to release the images one by one, and assemble them into the scrapbook when the project is ready.Read below to find out more about the memory, and check out my gallery for more in the series.
Memory
A couple of months after attending my first devMeet, I decided to venture a little further afield and travel to one in London. As part of the meet, blunaowl brought along a random shoe (nicknamed 'The Shoooooooe') which we took on a tour of London before she flew it over to America to meet zikes and zachriel .
Random fact: when the 4 of us met up this summer, The Shoooooooe came too and was once again exchanged hands. I'm not quite sure where it ended up though

To tell you the truth, I never once travelled to London on my own with friends, only with relatives and a class group respectively.

I've done the opposite - I think I've been to London around 5 times now, 4 of which were for devMeets/Meetups with dA friends. The last was a family trip when I was 9 (of which I have little to no memory)

3 times in total for me. The last time I did travel to London was on a family day out to the Wembley Stadium in 2010.
