I've been meaning to update this emoticon for ages and finally got around to up. I started again from scratch keeping only the original star and the concept and this was the updated emoticon.
Its not perfect, but i'm far happier with the result

One suggestion here, though.
The star's top seems rather short. I think you're going up two pixels and in one at a time, right? I'd suggest going up three over one.
Other than that, no complaints. Very, very cute and it makes me smile.
