I ended up losing intenet at my sisters house on friday but still stayed there as its much cooler in this heatwave. However on saturday i ended up napping through the day so was still awake at nightime. I decided to browse through my 'unfinished' folder of emotes and came across this.I've been waiting to make a big emote like this for a while and when playing minesweeper i saw the perfect opportunity. I made the base a few months ago but lost interest.
After spendig 3+ hours animating this was the result. I wanted to animate a version where it wins, but didn't wat to lose interest so stopped it at this.
I like how this turned out. Some of the mouse movements are a lil jerky but overall it turned out well. The game is actually based on a game i played while making this.
I'm also proud that i pixelled and created 100% of this, which is a massive improvement on my work a few months ago.
Not sure if i will make anymore larger emotes like this for a while, but atleast i know i can do it

Very original! I like how in the beginning the emoticon says to the player not to play on the first square, and then anyhow there wasn't any bomb there, lol. I love it

I once beat it in a record 4 seconds, although that was just luck. I can do it in 11 by pure skill, though.

It's pointless. I don't know what the numbers are for, and when my friends play, they seem like professional game masters.

the number show how many bombs are around the box that contains the number. so imagine a group of nine squares, and you click the one in the middle and the number is 1. that means somewhere among the other squares a bomb, not a number, is hidden, and you must avoid it.
the game is "epic" because while in the very begining is all about luck, the more numbers you reveal the more strategic the game becomes. that's one example of powerfull gameplay: simple, mastermind ideea. this minesweeper game will never, never-never wear out. and solitaire either
