I ended up losing intenet at my sisters house on friday but still stayed there as its much cooler in this heatwave. However on saturday i ended up napping through the day so was still awake at nightime. I decided to browse through my 'unfinished' folder of emotes and came across this.I've been waiting to make a big emote like this for a while and when playing minesweeper i saw the perfect opportunity. I made the base a few months ago but lost interest.
After spendig 3+ hours animating this was the result. I wanted to animate a version where it wins, but didn't wat to lose interest so stopped it at this.
I like how this turned out. Some of the mouse movements are a lil jerky but overall it turned out well. The game is actually based on a game i played while making this.
I'm also proud that i pixelled and created 100% of this, which is a massive improvement on my work a few months ago.
Not sure if i will make anymore larger emotes like this for a while, but atleast i know i can do it

Oh, wow! This is brilliant! The little emote's expressions really bring out the best in the whole thing. I love the way it shakes its head when the mouse hovers over the wrong place. I expected the emote to make a sad face at the end, but the explosion is much better!

I got baited to click on the picture because I thought it was a flash game, and then found out it was just an animation. Silly me.

Found one... but it's not the same. ah, well I'm going to get my old pc so I can check css in internet explorer anyway - there must be minesweeper on that one!

thats because i realised the grid was one bigger than the game i was playing so shoved some numbers in and made a mistake that was too tedious to fix
