When dochamps asks you to draw one of their characters, it's not exactly the kind of oppertunity you turn down. I'm not ashamed to admit I made this in one day, about eight hours. And I love how it turned out. Hope the man himself does too! Zoey was super fun to work with. Is it the most exciting piece? No. But that just means next time will have to be even better.

Other than that, I used this piece to work on a lot of new techniques (highlights, background details, line width, etc.) and I'm very satisfied how they all came together.

Anyway, took inspiration from those long cross country road trips and all the off-the-highway towns that tend to blend together. I'm sure Zoey would have no qualms crushing every single one of them on her trek.

Next Day Edit: I wasn't satisfied with the left hand and the clouds. There were also a couple shadows in the background I missed. Fixed that all up.
