Aslan is eager for the miasma season to END. His fascination with Ahza has existed for as long as he can remember.
There was just something about the shifting sands, and stormy skies on the horizon that brought him a certain level of satisfaction and exhileration.
For him, Ahza was his home. No matter where he may travel in the future, he knew, deep inside, his paws would always bring him back.
He had not yet had the chance to explore ALL of Ahza of course. He had only gotten to play in the sands for a bit before miasma season began.
But when miasma season ends...
He was sure the sands would be glorious to lie down on--perhaps a bit on the toasty side, but in the shade, perhaps it would be cool enough to be comfortable.
He wanted to run around in the open sands, and climb the suspicious jagged white "rocks".
He wanted to visit North Ahza and dance in the perpetual rain, and visit the cliffs and waterfalls in South Ahza.
Perhaps there would be tasty fishes in the oasis he could try?
So much to do and see, smell and touch!
The point is, he wasn't interested in visiting other regions just yet. He had plenty more to see, right here in Ahza!
