Kap's 32 bit being brought down to 16 bit then 8 bit.The more damage Kap takes the lower the resolution in the game goes. This affects all the art and even the music.

Soit goes from 32 bit, to 16 bit, then 8 bit....so if she gets hit in 8 bit mode we get DOS prompt?

This is the perfect way to compare resolutions. And the idea about damage related whit music and resolution is very creative

Really love the concept. You're probably sick of questions by now, but I have to ask: How far into this are you? Alpha? Pre-alpha? You can definately count on my money for a PC version on the artwork alone.

The entire concept of the game is built around downgrading and upgrading, so that's not really possible.

Wow, that works really well O_O And it's funny; because as good as the 8 bit looks, comparing it to the 32 bit makes the latter seem INCREDIBLE. Your sprites are fantastic. Did you have to do them again for the 16 and 8-bit versions, or was there a filter that would do it for you?
