Description
I have a picture in my art book of me wearing a flower crown over my eyes with a quote "I like to believe that I am beautiful" Because at the time of drawing that picture, I kinda felt like a waste of space. It made me feel better when I tried to compliment myself with something people normally don't tell me.
You see, I'm an artist, so people usually compliment my drawings and such, but after a while those compliments can loose their meaning when you hear it over and over again.
I don't remember who or when or why, but someone at school called me "really pretty" and it caught me off guard because no one ever calls me pretty...
So that made me feel better, and back to the time when I drew that picture, I thought back on the whole "Being pretty" thing and used it to make an edgy sketch in my notebook...

Now I did change a few things, like, this is a larger picture, and in the notebook it was cut off from below my arms. Also, in the original, I was in pain, so I was crying, and the crown was covering most of my face, but in this picture it's only covering one eye. I still like it though... I think it's pretty.
