So... my first upload.
Yeah, so I'm really trying to find a new style. I'm not liking the style I'm used to at the moment; that is a manga-esque style with nonexistent noses and lips. I want to try a style that I've always looked up to since I was a kid.
DISNEY!
It didn't work out very well the first time, haha! I tried to get the facial proportions and proper spacing of a Disney princess, and attempted to draw Queen Elsa from Disney's "Frozen". I used pictures as reference, but that's all I had, so a lot of it was trial-and-error. In the end, I finally got something I was somewhat happy with.
Actually, I'm glad I got some kind of progress. Even if it's in simple front-view, haha! I'll practice a bit more, and try profile and 3/4th views next.
Oh, and if ANYBODY has any tips or tricks to this stuff, PLEASE do send 'em my way. I have no idea what I'm doing.

I feel ya, bud. First time I drew Elsa was horrendous, but then again, I was drawing her out of love not out of art quality. XD The second time, though...MUCH better.
And this looks fantastic! Better then both of my attempts!

That's the important thing! Art is always a labor of love.
There's times when I wouldn't exactly like how something turned out, or I'd be frustrated because I couldn't get something right (see my drawing above, haha!), but I'd always have some sort of fun. Or at the very least, I'd learn something.

Definitely. I have plenty drawings I did of my Original Animals, and when I was drawing them I told myself basically the same thing as with my first Elsa drawing, "Don't worry about quality, they mean too much to you not to draw!" X3

lol, looking at this is exactly how I felt when I started trying to draw disney a little while ago. I still feel that way! I too am only used to drawing manga/anime style. You did a good job though.
