o_o Sir. I must invest in your cheese scheme.

Excellent.

Each share of stock in our new rocket-based cheese harvesting company is $1,000.00, which as you know is quite a tidy sum in our present era, but our expenses are quite fitting of our ambitions.

This first exploratory vehicle will be able to determine the type of cheese we can expect to procure as well as whether dark side vs. light side makes any difference. We suspect, considering the craters, it is most likely composed of some form of Swiss cheese, though that is a trade secret and may not be shared with anyone.

If you so choose to invest, your first duty would be to determine what use we could have for owning Wisconsin - what would our assets and liabilities be. We have yet to determine this but are proceeding under the assurance that it must be of some use. Of course, considering there are no invasive species and/or exotic muscles in Lake Michigan, the fishing rights could be a good place to start your research.

To aid in your decision, financial statements and business plans can be beamed into your head with my telepathic ray. You may expect them to arrive within the next few days. Keep in mind, however, that in the process of beaming into your head, the information may mix with your current thoughts, so if you consider making a sandwich and concurrently ponder cheese mines, you have been warned.

Thank you for your consideration.

Rather so, sir. I shall set aside some of the funds normally allocated to trivialities such as groceries and haberdashery.

Also, I find that the general shape of Wisconsin is quite similar to that of a fist, which should prove beneficial in our propaganda campaigns.

Onward to victory!!

Groceries become thoroughly unnecessary once you begin receiving dividends on your cheese expedition shares.

However, regarding the other possibility you presented, I must pose a question. Have you ever seen a dictator and/or overlord who has missing buttons on his coat? Of course not! All fear from the populace would be lost. You would be the object of ridicule.

The thought of it is absurd. I cannot have a co-overlord whose apparel's hardware is lacking. So, feel free to reallocate your grocery budget, but don't you dare eliminate any profits of your local haberdasher lest you lose your rank.

Regarding Wisconsin, you make a very good point. Do you have any fitting imagery for Idaho? Just so we're prepared, you understand.

Imagine it...potatoes with eyes!

Oh, but of course! I have full confidence in a return on my investment. >w> Hm.... Perhaps you are right. Besides, there's a fabulous fascinator I've had my eye on~

Ooooh. Idaho looks rather like a gentleman's boot, does it not?

Ha! Another voice for the side of reason.

When I presented this to the Scientific Research Council, I was not so successful. Would you believe it: the other scientists outright laughed at me! Thought it was absurd! But I'll show them. I'll show them all!

When we bring back a nearly limitless supply of cheese, we'll put Wisconsin out of business. Land will be worthless, and we will be able to snatch it up and ridiculously low prices. The others will see the folly of their ways when we rule Wisconsin!

And next, we will conquer Boise through an elaborate scheme using sentient potatoes! Bwahahahaha!
