this is such a cool piece . it makes me think of the forest from lord of the rings where the trees are old and mysterious and might just get you if you aren't careful XD .

So gorgeous! I love all the detail you've included - and the colors you've chosen all work together seamlessly! Can I ask how long it took you to paint it?

LOVE the depth of emptiness through the gravel pass and the lighting you choose gave it so much life, especialy when you look at the misty tree tops then down towards the distance of enveloping green. Great work!

Beautiful!
I really like the deer you added in the bg, they make the scene more alive without being overly obtrusive

I was staring at this while typing, couldn't take my eyes off of it.
Needless to say, it's amazing. The deer took me a moment to actually notice, they're a great touch.
I shall now continue to gape.

the rendering of the shadows in the trees against the splashes of light coming through the foliage is excellent. i love how it takes a couple of minutes to finally see the deer in the background.

God, I want to walk/run down that path. But why are there tire tracks? It looks like a few cars have gone down that road...

Oops, I see that Sonaix noticed what I noticed, haha. Yeah, it does seem a bit like a statement... like how something so peaceful can be slightly marred by the ghosts of technology.

this is gorgeous. I love the quality of the light, especially the depth of color in the grass and in the moss on the trees. Since you asked for critique, my only real critique is that there is something about the lines on the path that seem a bit off, I assume the lines are from bikes? But I think that given how natural the scene is the grid pattern made by the lines and the shadows seems oddly man made in contrast. Although, that could be a statement in and of itself. Anyway, I really really love it. That's the only thing about it that I don't think is just right.

Yes, the lines of the path are a marks of vehicles.
but thank you for the critique!

Makes sense if you were drawing from a scene. It really is lovely. You have a real talent for expressing how much life there is in plants
