I’ve created this mini tutorial to show you how I paint ghibli style grass.
Of course it requires practice and patience, but with the basis, is a little bit easier.

You can use any kind of textured brush for the first blocking steps, It really doesn't matter.
For the grass blades, a basic round brush with pressure sensitivity it's ok.
