yes, maybe, is more luminous, but I think that the "real" Mononoke's forest is more dark, therefore I decided to apply some layer of blue tones to generate the similar ambientation of the movie.

Yes, the idea you had for dark forest was great, but in final result the image looks just...more proffesional without blue gradient layer.
Ofc. this is just my personal opinion, don't take it too serious
