Nope, are not based on a real formation. I made it from my mind, are so flat by erosion. (the typical flat stones from the bed of the river, but here much larger)

I love the colours, especially in the far distance, and the shapes of the rocks in the stream. Beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and great use of lighting. I would say that the scale//perspective feels a little off (the foreground seems to become background a bit too quickly) but it's a pretty slight issue. Gorgeous work, well done!

I love the contrast of the close, detailed pebbles and the mountains in the distance. Makes me feel like I'm actually standing in the river. Absolutely beautiful!

Amazing details *o* having the animals drinking adds personality to this piece, although I would have liked to see them a bit more towards the foreground. The mountains remind me of the entrance to Erebor from the Hobbit. ย Lovely work
