This is heartbreaking. But I can see it happen. I think STH cares about his engines, and D10 being quite special, I wouldn't be surprised if he made D10's shed into some shrine to remember him by.

Probably the electric. I'm thinking something like 'Sarah Simmons' or maybe a steeplecab if I can find one. And the class 14 is definitely going to be 'Eric', some works shunter thing. He's probably been inspired by an idea I've had for an N scale shunting layout which will use a modified Jinty chassis to make a class 14.

The electric loco would be battery fitted and in a constant fit due to the limitations of a battery.

These are quite beefy things for 1906 but there isn't much room on the noses, so I'll probably draw it in my style and come up with an explanation later, since the vacuum connection and destination board need to be there (And early MU system...?) and the same goes for Eric.

Speaking of which, I wonder if I could set my next N scale shunting layout on the Met or Southern region DC network...
