I'm in a Lovecraftian mood today.
The Deep Ones swim sluggishly around the silent Gateway. Their heavy, monotonous chanting drones out through the silent streets of Y’ha-nthlei, and into the utter blackness of the depths beyond. The chanting quickens, the patterns coalesce into a point of tremendous pressure, and with a thunderous CRACK! the portal opened. From the blinding light beyond, after untold eons, They were freed at last... a brilliant flash of ethereal light in the black depths, and then darkness. They moved out into the ocean depths and began their work.
This is a great piece.
