Woo, finally found a place in New Zealand that sells prismacolors and open stock at that, for $2.50 each Gordon Harris, Newmarket, Auckland (they deserve the free advertising).

So I bought all the pinks and peaches, some replacement pencils and a few other cool colours.
I'd been wanting to do a variation on this photo [link] by (used with permission) and decided to make the hair a bit more exciting, almost like it was glowing which gives a bit of an unreal feel to it.

21x21cm, upwards of 16 hours.
