There is something inspiring about this work for multiple reasons. The moment of discovery, the mystery of the surrounding area, theΒ mysticism surrounding the scenario as well as the main character staring at the enigmatic monument with a face fueled with the mixture of youthful curiosity and quiet determination. Truly marvelous, capturing the magic that makes the world you are conjuring magic. Wonder work.Β Β

What a gorgeous piece... I see several homages to yourΒ inspirational design heroes including.... if I'm not in error: Caza, Gottlieb, a certain Manga artist and just a soupcon of Hokusai...er... maybe Hiroshige?.... I'm possibly way out... but I'm talking about those on whose shoulders we, at least in part, as well as some of our graphic novel/bandes dessinees heroes, owe a debt of inspiration and eye-opening instruction in technique etc... simply by attentively looking at their work?
Bravo!... again I say ye: Bravo! a worthy descendent to many of my idols... you get yer fav + watch for this one....

It's the eyes and the cheeks, it reminds me of Akira Toriyama's early work in Dragonball.
