(THIS VERSION IS OUTDATED. NEW DESIGN HERE:Ā fav.me/dbmza6x )Meet my beloved OC, Roxydrack. Ever since I started on Deviantart I've been shaping this guy, improving not only his appearance, but my art skills as well.
I mean, the first version was just an outlined image I found on google with an altered head, that I shaded following an old tutorial by Zeurel... but that's how I started, so I guess it wasn't that bad.
The newer appearance was actually inspired by these creatures I used to draw a long time ago as a kid.
I would draw them, then cut out their shapes with scissors and play with them... heh...
Now I'm finally done with the complete reference sheet for my very own Original Character.
Also, it may look like it, but this actually isn't for an OCT.
Just a reference for other artists to use whenever I need them to... (Zeu gib commision plox)

Glad you like it. That actually has something to do with the settings of his species' civilization.
I've thought about starting a comic series for him for a long time, but uuugh, I get distracted by so much, and I'm not sure I'm up for it.
Also, take a closer look at the background in the sheet. Some small secrets there. Ā ewe

My friend Meghan wants to start so many comics... her problem is a mixture of distraction and making WAAAAAY too many characters.
Interesting, cool characters mind you-- but literally like, at least 100?? probably more tbh.
I 'dunno how she does it. I can barely handle the amount I have! which is around 30...
and not a lot of those are "main" characters either, like this guy is for you!
Oh yes, I saw some faint images in the background! I'm unsure of what they mean, however?

Some of the faint images are just his head, one image I even uploaded earlier.
However, a couple others I'll leave open for interpretation, though you're not really supposed to get it until you already know what it is, which I haven't explained yet.
A sort of 'looking back at it' thing for the future.
If Rox were to meet your 'Captcha' I bet they'd be friends. She looks so happy and friendly and cute ewe, and Rox could share the sympathy of her lost arm.

Their design, expressions, etc... it's really nice. Sharp! Heh.
Do you have a story going currently somewhere in your gallery?
Or are you still ironing things out now that the design is down?
Oh yes, she loves making friends! When she can. She'd be apprehensive
of them at first based on how they look... but get over it soon enough.
After all, can't judge a book by its cover!

Well, I haven't really posted any story of sorts. In fact, this ref sheet is the first time I've written any information at all.
I've thought about a story for a long time though. I should write a script or something, have it all on paper.
