I don't want to sound naΓ―ve, but what are badges used for? Surely, they are badges like that of a Sheriff's, no?
I have a similar question as sodasock, do you make them on the computer and whoever they are for prints them and, what, wears it?

A badge is for a fursuit/fursona/character and it usually includes a picture of what they look like, whether it's just a head or a full-body like these, and the name. It's so people can look at it while your wearing it and see what "your" name is. Kind of like tricked-out name tags, if you will.
