Description
If the world was black and whitewhat a simple place it'd be
Shades of only dark and light
with nothing inbetween
Blue would never cross your mind
nor would orange or green
because no one could define
what these colours mean
How could ruby red portray
the passion found in love,
or glow of yellow throughout the day
when sweetly touched by sun?
Cold could never turn your lips
to bittersweet-chilled pink
Or give purple to your fingertips
when silver snow begins to streak
In a world of black and white
with nothing inbetween
it's hard to tell dark from light
when shades are never seen.
