Someones call Purple Qilin the most eerie creature what they've ever seen. Anybody who asks "why" has most probably not seen it, or at least not seen how it uses surfaces, contours and silhouettes. Any normal creature can't use "wrong" surfaces as some solid matter, simply because it's impossible. Purple Qilin, though, seems refuse to respect any laws of physics and reality...Pencil, aquarels, white ink. Full size is only 4A, so Purple Qilin was a such small thing to paint.

Awesome, i love the concept behind this and i really love your choice of colors, they really make Qilin stand out without putting too much emphasis on it while at the same time not overpowering it.

Good notice, since Qilin never really sit unless it know to be perfectly undisturbable (is that even a word?). At least that anybody would think does their eyes work now...

Hm, but even a Qilin flying in the mountains would look kinda weird..unless they can switch surfaces freely? (I don't know how that would work though..)
