WELL. My intention was to make "forced realistic" interpretation of Pride .Ended up having some cosmic horror monster.
So ummm. Back to normal I guess. Even if those flaming iron cluster crosses and sword are pretty neat. I need to remember to use that somewhere.
Β€ Brush pen, liners, copics, opaque white.
I have awful puns. So much cardinal red here as well...

I have this certain opaque white watercolor what I use everywhere nowadays, it really helps with all highlighting.

This is such a fascinating picture. The design and textures are different, yet even with the added layer of realism this is still no doubt Pride. I love all the details, from the delicate rimlights to the texture in the metal there are lots of things to take in. I have no critique to offer this time, it looks splendid overall. Awesome job overall, I love it!
My favorite parts are definitely his face-feathers (this phrase is now a thing), and gangly arms. He looks like he's up to no good! We'd better run. :U

What backlog.
Pride has this odd trait that no matter to what species/series/style/whatever I try to fit him, there's is no doubt that yes, still Pride. (Should I even say, once I tried to draw him copying My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic -like style...AND STILL, undoubtedly very Pride.)
Face-feathers is a word then. B< I dunno about running but I just realized...while human!Pride has pretty sharp cheeks, creature has knives on its cheeks so still wins in sharpness. *random realization*

That's such a great point though, it's fun to bend and twist characters and see how well they hold up. Pride's a perfect example of this... solid personality, great set of themes, an "aesthetic". And boy it's a good one! 8D
