Description Now something slightly different. I made 3D-model. It is Envy , just because this porcelain face was not that hard to start with.
Here I used different materials so if some images are more shiny, it is intentional.
So, yea. Now I won't have future problems to draw this thing from any view if I need some odd angles.
(I forgot to resize some of its crosses but WHATEVER it was after when I coloured it and then was too late. I still like it.)

¤ Modeled in Sculptris (free and easy to use 3D-program, not suitable for animating but you can make 3D-models like using virtual clay.)

Woah, that's awesome! I could never make something decent in Sculptris, I always ended up with rough edges I couldn't smudge or erase.

Try "smooth" -action with big brush, that how I managed to remove unwanted roughness, even those ones where triangles are formed a horrible mess.

Hm, I have to try that. Thanks for the tip!

awaaa Envy looks nice and shiny here 8> I haven't tried using Sculptris much so I'm not sure if Sculptris has similar controls, but I think the model might look better with a bit more smoothing/sharpening of the edges..though I think as a drawing reference it should work just fine..! I haven't really the patience for 3D :F

Sculptris treats model as digital clay and I tend to get it rather rough at some point...luckily there is smoothing tool, even if the results are never as...say, digital as building model in more traditional 3D-way. x>
But drawing reference yes. Weird porcelain swan thing.

Oho, pitäs ehkä joskus kokeilla tota ohjelmaa, jos se on sen verran helppo että jopa tämä saisi sen sisäistettyä.

Soma malli kuitenkin Kateudesta. Toi megakiiltävä on hitusen pelottava. ;w;

Joo, siinä on helpot komennot ja kevyt ohjelma. Ja niinku digitaalista savea muovais.

Mulla oli liian kivaa tekstuuritestien kanssa. Ainakin on mallia miten tehä toi posliinisorsa jännistäkin kuvakulmista. B<

Cool. Pitää ehkä joskus..!

Onko se alentunut joutsenesta sorsaksi?

Olkkoon vaikka pulu.

It's in 3D!! For a first attempt at digital it's pretty smooth, and interesting to see Evy with a turnaround. The curve of the crosses and strange ribcage is definitely my favorite part, as well as that eerily smooth face. What a dashing fella! Keep at it, and pay extra close attention to the mane/wispy style. You're definitely off to a great start! ;D

Envy is that kind of critter which would have been easier with more traditional 3D-building way than this "digital clay" (smoothening everything is a job of its own). At least now I can use this as drawing reference from some odd perspective if nothing else. x>

Its style is eerily similar to Spore.

3D creatures which look like made of something oddly smooth material. True that.

You never cease to amaze me with your work. x>
Anyway, really nice to see Envy in all these dimensions. Gives one a way better idea of the proportions.
