Whatta quickie...You would understand this better, if
- there was same kind of deep gloomy weather like here
- you had been a major headache
- you had played Digimon Rumble Arena (first...) with BlackWarGreymon and slaughtered many smaller monsters (with current mood I really enjoyed it...)
... Feh. Anyway, this character made me like Digimon more. Nowadays I silently respect him and don't draw anything but so called impressive fanart... Don't ask why. I have my reasons. I just want screw out brains from every darn fanartists who make fun with him anymore. He's a tragic character. He deserves better things. ... Thus I want screw out my brains too, shoot them and throw out the window because once I was one of those darn fanartists.
And I still have a headache...

Extremely well done watercolor! The title is fitting to both the scene and the character.
BlackWargreymon was one of the most 'hard-core' characters that I'd ever seen in the series. So disturbingly sinister, yet not one of completely baseless malice.
Plus I enjoyed the incessant ass-kickings he never failed to deliver to the pathetically pun-saturated digidestined.
Really, for me, the puns were the only flaw in the show. If only the 'digi' puns weren't there...

And it's really amusing that the second season was made for kids.
Ken's story is so depressing. And near the end it gets creepy. (black gears, stealing his intelligence, wtf??)
BlackWarGreymon is (as you said) an insanely tragic character who is just...searching for an actual life rather than the mechanical prototype he was created to be.

MAAAAN, the more I think about it the more I realize Digimon isn't that much of a kiddie's show (though I adored it when it first came out when I was in first grade) Darned 4Kids TV had to ruin it all, of course. *has been making a habit of watching Digimon in original Japanese*

I've never thought Digimon is just kids' show. But US versions are ultimately censored so they can almost be that...
Especially original Digimon Frontier was a such harsh sometimes.
Zero Two just continued Adventure... There was a time when the best thing in that season was just BlackWarGreymon but nowadays I'm not sure even abot that... ._.

XPP What can I say, I was a kid when I watched it, my tiny brain just made the leap from one to the other.
I never watched Digimon Frontier in English or Japanese, mostly because they changed broadcasting networks. ._. All I know is that some really cool Digimon appeared in there (Cerberumon, Sleipmon, etc.) and that they took the fusion thing to a whole new level.
I really love Stingmon from the second one. His personality and his design are so awesome. And ever since I've been watching Tamers over again, I've come to hate the English Renamon. She talks too much, unlike the Japanese version.
Meh. A lot of people are into the humans of Digimon, I'm there mostly for the Digimon themselves. X3 I think I always was. Never got into pokemon that much, it was all Digimon.

I like using WarGreymon better...but that's partially because I'm able to better use the timing on his Terra Force...I'm a total Great Tornado whore.
Fabulous work here, I can just imagine him breathing a little heavily, and the angle turning around to reveal a fresh horde of enemies and he just gets ready to keep going.
To be created...only to destroy...no wonder he was in so much pain...

I have to say, he really made me consider watching the show more deeply. His personality was so well developed that the entire second season came together because of his presence. I mean, the guy was more than a mere plot device, he was the whole point to the second season. I know that probably sounds like idol worship, but he really is an awesome presence in anime. Who can forget this guy?

I have it too... But somehow in first version he really has better movements AND he does not evolve from anything. He's just one hidden character who comes if you beat first five rounds and a bonus game without any single lose, and then you have to beat him... |3

awwww I love him. He was always one of my favorites, and my favorite Agumon evo. I have a thing for really tragic villains who aren't really villains. 
There really should be more love for this digimon. I felt so horrible for him, he really needed a biiig hug. He and Aru and Mumm make me really sad. I cried in those last few episodes. T_T
This is a perfect picture of him, it fits his character perfectly.

I remember DRA. I remeber I got very ticked off at it because it took me a few tries to defeat BlackWarGreymon. Curse his long range attacks. I was playing with Veemon.>>
I've drawn BlackWarGreymon....Once. And it's only a headshot, so it's not a very good one. I want to try drawing him again, but I don't have enough paper for that right now.D=
Anyway, about the picture. It's very pretty, but it strikes me as sad as well. The way the blood is around his eye, it almost looks as if he's crying blood. He also seems to give off a triuphant, yet sorrowful air. He stands tall on the battlefield, yet in his heart, he is on his knees....Or perhaps I'm just giving this way too much thought. I'll be quiet now.

I /never/ get long replies. It's always 'Cool!' or 'Nice!' or just the fav icon. It's annoying. -_- However sometimes I get lucky and someone leaves a comment where the ACTUALLY TELL ME why it's good.
I just kind of went: "What the...? It's WarGreymon with black paint dumped on him!" Because at the time I didn't know about him. That game was the first time I ever saw him.
I don't do a lot a bloody pics because they usually don't come out to well and since most of my drawing are done at school, I just don't think it's a good idea to draw a bunch of carnage and blood and stuff...Because that's when the teacher goes 'You need to go talk to your counselor! You're obviously depressed and homicidal!'. It almost happened to me once. But I hid the drawing just in time.
