Finally it is done! Bear with me for the slightly half assed background. It's not completely half assed. Maybe it's two thirds assed idk.I totally didn't draw his wounds and dekubitus in this one because ??? reasons.

The lights in this picture are absolutely brilliant. The bring out the shape of the dragon so nicely. I like it how the viewer's gaze just follows the shapes, the arches of the wings and the rest. The dripping sand is a very nice touch. Really cool atmosphere, too!

Hmmmm. Flagellation symbol? Threshing symbol? I need to get back up on my Egyptian iconography, apparently. Ah! Flail and crook. Those are fairly simple as far as icons of power go, now that I've actually done the google thing. Interesting.
Maybe I should just get my eyes checked, because I did so so much squinting to try to decide whether or not I was looking at a dewclaw, haha. Though when details get small enough, I know artist intention always says more than the linework, anyway. So handcramp, so squint-and-frustration X_x

Ich finde das Bild einfach hammermäßig gemalt und vor allem schattiert! Diese krassen Lichter lassen den ganzen Ort wirklich so'n wenig abgeschottet wirken, geben aber trotzdem den Eindruck, dass das Süßi bald ausbrechen wird. Diese warmen Farben signalisieren irgendwie Hoffnung, fragt sich nur ob das gut ist oder schlecht! So'n halb verwesendes Vieh plötzlich in irgendnem abgelegenen Dorf voller Leute, welches über den Ruinen gebaut wurde rumrennen zu lassen, is vielleicht nicht die geilste IdeexD
Ich finde den Bg übrigens recht sauber und überhaupt nicht halfassed gezeichnet. Ich weiß jetzt nicht, ob du nur gewitzelt hast oder das ernst meinstxD Die Ruinen da zur linken sind richtig cool geworden und dieser Altar im HG wirkt schön gruslig. Ich mag den Chara

Ja ich weiß auch nicht, ich find die Idee lustig Grabräuber zu ihm zu schicken. Mal schauen was da passieren würde. Und danach macht er roadtrip mit Assaggaerg oder so xD

This is great I don't think the background looks half arsed at all (you should see my backgrounds) it keeps the focus on the dragon without leaving it floating in nothingness, this is great work

For some reason I see him shouting "HELL YEAH" I don't know why since I know he is in such a shitty situation...
Well for me thr background is completely fine, according to where this is, it's not supposed to be well visible so it works for this picture just right, yet some details like cracks and sand flowing from above are a nice touch.
Nice work on him, as always, pose even if not fancy it's really well done so it's great, same goes for coloring, lighting and shading, all picture is actually covered in strong shades but they are yet stronger where they should be plus some light strokes on his body here and there, this gives a look how I actually imagine seeing him in ancient ruins in real, great work on that.
