Woah so I have not been dead this whole time I didn't upload stuff? Exactly.
It just seems that I'm unable to actually finish stuff :c

So yeah here have a comp of my digital WIPs (abandoned sketches, rather)
I might do one of the traditional lines I was doing c:

1.
This is a WIP that was SUPPOSED to be one of the drawings I evaluate the time I use for certain commishtypes with, but it ended up being too complicated for an average commish.
This is my character Raksinskanjalk or Raks/Rax for short. You can see his (unfinished) ref on an older comp I did. It really took me a while to figure this pose out but it's good now. The wings do not have a membrane that connects the actual body with the last stabilizer. Since he's an aquatic being he does not need them and thus can give up this last membrane for making the wings more maneuverable. simander.deviantart.com/art/Wi…

2. This is a WIP of a anatomystudy of my character Ragnex and also a redesign to base a new ref on. I decided that I really dislike the anatomy that I failed at drew on the old ref so I wanted to make a new one. simander.deviantart.com/art/Ra…

3. A greyscalepractise that was supposed to be a finished work but I decided to call it greyscalepractise so I can pretend that it's done at this stage.
Yeah it's Extasy and she did not have her new wings back when I did this. (#7 includes the new wings)

4. More Extasy. Was supposed to be an finished artwork aswell. I was going strong until someone pointed out, that the pose did not make as much sense as I thought it would and that really robbed me of all motivation to finish this. I'd rather redo the pose and also redo the wings (this is the old wingdesign aswell) but I do not have the motivation to do so. I enjoyed doing the hair tho.

5. A WIP of (guess what) another drawing that was supposed to be a finished artwork. I don't know what stopped me this time. It's just this weird phenomenom that I'm perfectly happy sketching it. Then gradually fade from happy to annoyed whilst lining the head and completely stop somewhere in the proces of lining the neck. I swear, I've got like 3-5 WIPs that are sketched and have a lined headarea :I.
This is Kailai. Actually I started this one before I drew that bustshot of him and now I'm completely unsatisfied with how young he looks here. and this is a younger version of him. Yes. Completely intended. simander.deviantart.com/art/Bo…

6. Another example of the sketch-with-lined-head-phenomenom. This time it's a Vakyll. A common Vakyll for a change because I happen to just draw the mutants of that species :I bear with me because that species has MANY mutants though (missing DNA-reperature-enzyms, bleh). And I wanted him to make bubblerings just like dolphins do. Actually now that I'm looking at it I get that idea I had for the finished image back. I might revisit this some day. Yeah, as if.

7. Linessss. Finished linesss. Can you imagine. Actually this is just a very outdated WIP of a drawing that I'm actually working on right now it's close to being finished. It's even got a background. Woah!
I can't believe I'm really going to draw something with a background and completely shaded of one of my own characters. Has that ever happened? I can't remember.
So yeah, Extasy. This time she's got her new wings! Woarwrggh. FYI the old wings were (losely) based on those of a griffon vulture did not look like it because I failed to draw anything else than my 0815 random wingshape and the new ones are based on the wings of a Kea.

8. Random critter, because I like drawing standalones of stuff.

9. Skydiving Extasy. I don't quite remember but I don't think this was supposed to be finished. It's just a random doodle that I put onto this comp to fill blank space. Old wings tho.
