So. Aside from Volition, I've been working on another setting. Right, now, it's simply called 'The Movement'.

The origins of this setting are a real throwback to my early TheDaiLi days, back when I'd written Lake Laogai (wow, ten years goes by fast huh). Anyway, me and a friend of mine have slowly worked on it over the barren years and it's in a place now where it's like 'Okay, we have this setting, what are we going to do with it?'

The setting in question is one with a kind of turn-of-the-19th century tech level, where a cult known only as 'The Movement' is spreading around from city to city that follows and worships a goddess they call Yi Lin, someone who used to be a person before she was ascended by other cult members through unkown magics (done by the lady above, Nikiru). They are interested in converting all to follow her teachings of free love and harmony...whilst also acting as a force to shield people from Yi Lin's worst excesses.

There's a lot of 'conversion', indoctrination, subtle and not-so-subtle mind-control/brainwashing, summoning and binding, other kinds of magic, risque fashion, some mild body horror in bits and the like, it's a lot of fun!

Anyway. Chances are good that I'll be doing character sketches here and there and doing a CYOA soon over on fiction.live and dip y'all's toes into the water of this a bit by playing the part of a pair of Hunters- the class of Movement cultists whose job it is to find and convert supple new girl-souls to join the Movement's cause- as they prey upon a rural village. There'll be the hunting bit, the sexy converting bit, then deciding what to do with the girls- send them back as sleepers, to serve the movement in the future, send them back to one of your compounds as a full-convert, or choose a middle road...any and either way, it promises to be fun!

Heck I'll even do some art for it, though the raunchiest may only be able to be enjoyed by my dear patrons.

I'll keep you posted on how that's going to go- I think maybe the first tester for that is only a few weeks away. Maybe only a couple! We'll see.

As for more info on this Nik chick....I think for now I'll keep it on the low. Some things you keep in the pocket for future reveals, I guess? Anyway, comment as you like, questions on this project are always welcome!
