I was kind of expecting Threeie or remastered for Xbox One, but we didn't get any Banjo news. I probably should have set my expectations lower though.
There's still the Nintendo Direct though, Banjo COULD still be in Smash Bros. If he is, I didn't expect Microsoft to announce it. I also didn't expect much (if any) Nintendo news at the Xbox event, Nintendo always makes their own announcements. The only thing Nintendo related I thought Xbox would announce is Game Pass on Switch, other than that I expect Nintendo to make any announcements about Xbox content on their system (new games, ports, Smash character, and such).
