First Celestia stopped getting letters from Twilight, then she got replaced by a book, and now the only thing she had left was warning Twilight about dangers coming to Equestria... which is now replaced by a map... No wonder she went goth, I'd be pretty upset too if I was pretty much getting less and less important to the show.
So... yeah, this is making fun of the Goth series of My Little Pony Toys, which (IMO) is really kinda dumb :/
And now they're making a new one that talks... So I was wondering what a Gothic Celestia would say, because I doubt she'd say "I'm a princess, are you a princess too?" so that's where this comic comes from.
I was debating if I should have made a story arc where everypony from the set turned goth, and Applejack and Luna had to fight the people at Hasbro to get it fixed, but that just didn't seem like that much fun...
(For the record, I know nothing about Goths)
