Honestly Link and Mario have it worse. Since they have CDI selves that could pretty much ruin the series if they weren't as popular as they are... However Sonic's been in so much crap(Sonic 360, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Chronicles etc.) It's surprising he still has any fans excluding his rabid fanbase...
However I hope Sonic Generations is good. But I did like his old cartoon. I think Sonic X is the horrible one...
