I was just thinking that if Modern Sonic affected Classic Sonic in anyway, would Modern Sonic remember or be affected by it?

They actually made classic Sonic as being from an alternate dimension instead of being past Sonic. Why from an alternate dimensions? Itβs definitely a past dimension, where Earth get formed until later. (Because itβs a dimension it exists in the same universe, just on a different timeline, and/or plane of existence) If it were a different UNIVERSE then you can say that universe is younger then ours so itβs set in the past.
