An apology would have been nice, but there probably was not enough room in the movie. Plus, it was implied that none of the students remembered anything that happened while they were under the Sirens' spell before the finale.

Twilight: A friend needs our help. We have to find him before it's too late.

*Time-skip - Ten minutes later. Twilight and Sunset are driving in Twilight's Jurassic Park car that she somehow had, looking for Flash. Sunset is taking the wheel and Twilight is sitting next to her.*
Sunset: Twilight, if you don't mind me asking, who is this friend that the girls were torturing?
Twilight: *Looks down at her lap* It's Flash. I found him sitting on the school's front steps, crying all alone. But before I could go comfort him, I saw the girls and Spike go up to him and start yelling at him. They were calling him a bully and telling him to get lost. That's when I realized they were talking about that time during the Battle of the Bands when he made me cry. So I intervened and scolded the girls and Spike for how they were treating Flash, but he said that they were right and he should run away. After that, he went to his car and drove off. I told the girls and Spike that they have a lot to think about and left, bumping into you afterwards.
Sunset: *Stunned* What?! But I don't get it. I thought they knew he was under the Dazzlings' spell.
Twilight: I did, too. But I guess we shouldn't worry about that right now. Finding Flash and bringing him back is more important.
Sunset: You're right. And maybe once we return to the school, they've had the time to think about their actions and realize they were wrong.
Twilight: *Looking out the window* I hope so.

Sunset: Guys, hold on. Let me park somewhere. *Parks in a parking lot that happened to have been nearby* (How she remains calm through all this is a mystery.)
Twilight: *To Tyler* So do you know where Flash is?

Tyler: I think so. He must be in the junk yard, Twilight.

Sunset: The junk yard? Why would he be there?
Twilight: I guess we'll have to find out. Thank you for your help, Tyler.

*Sunset starts driving towards the junk yard. After arriving, the trio notice a familiar black car parked near the entrance*
