Mostly for my own reference, a simple brush tutorial for krita.
Make what you want to use as a brush tip, go to edit brushes, make sure you are in the pixel engine, go to "Brush Tip" got to the "Predefined" tab, got to "Stamp", save your new stamp and mess with all the brush setting on the left until it preforms how you want it.
There are a lot of options for brushes in Krita.
