Description
Cardboard cuirass and fauld covered with aluminum tape.
Trying to make "fluted set" in Demon's Souls (Opening movie version).
I don't know much about European armor...
Please let me know if you know some great websites of armor.

That's my absolute favourite game armour. It's great how it's clearly inspired by historical armour but has it's own fantasy flare to it. Like the disconnect between the cuirass and the fauld. And the weird pauldrons.
I've been wanting to make a steel replica of it for so long but I don't really know what I would do with it.

I love world of Demon's Souls... It's a great fusion of fantasy and the real world.
I don't have enough skills to make a steel armor, so I escaped to the cardboard.

The Smithsonian has some good information about clothing and armor. I've seen it in their books. They do have a website but I'm not sure how good it is. Their shows can sometimes be found online too!

nice work it may be worth going over the edges again with more tape to reduce the texture of the cardbord and hide some of the edges where you can see the joins

I hope you donโt mind but, if I were to suggest an improvement it would be to have the faulds attached to the cuirass and have the cuirass be a bit more rounded.ย

The model's stomach is not protected by plate but by chainmail...
Looks less protective but may easy to move
Rounded cuirass... That's my ideal! I'll remake it if I have some time
