Description This is not my drawing, I took the challenge to color a sketch by and make it look like it was an anime screenshot. So I colored it, threw in a quick but satisfactory background, some spiffy effects on the sword,... et voila!

Thanks! Well I guess just through experience and practice. Imagining all the shapes and how they would get light from the lightsource and how they would drop shadows. I remember having a hard time with this in the beginning.

Ah then you need to discover the brilliance that is Chrono Trigger. It's a game for the psx and snes you can easily find emulators for it. It was designed by Akira Toriyama and is considered by many as the greatest RPG in existence.

Sorry no, I do this very rarely. This was a moment of passion because I love Chrono Trigger so much and I couldn't stand Reetlegna's sketch being uncoloured.

Hehe yeah, well interestingly I didn't remember exactly how to do them, so I had to go back to my trunks tribute psd file to check it out on trunks' sword.
