Description
Decided to go with a more literal interpretation. First form is based on chimney brushes, while the second is a literal chimney/fireplace, and the bird itself is so covered in soot that it looks like a puff of smoke... or something. Names, abilities, etc. are always welcome and wanted!Chimadee/Sweeft
Fire
White Smoke (HA-???)
(Dex Suggestions?)
Swifstack
Fire/Rock
White Smoke (HA-Fur Coat)
They construct an armored nest out of bricks and their own saliva. When they molt, the surrounding area is bathed in ashy powder.
Thanks to
for the name 'Swifstack'
for the name 'Chimadee'
for the name 'Sweeft'
for dex entries!

Chimadee/Sweeft:
Hidden Ability: Flash Fire or Fur Coat
Dex Entry:
"Chimadee/Sweeft live mostly in heavily polluted or smoky areas, collecting dust that begins to cover their entire body, they combine the smoke with their saliva to form a heavily sticky spit that they use to drive away any who attempt to hold it by it's leg."

Chicoal- Chicoals are often used as class pets due to their fluffyness. When they evolve their donated to construction crews to help build more schools.

First stage:
Chimadee (chimney + chickadee)
Hidden Ability: Fur Coat
They prefer to make their nests on top of chimneys, because they enjoy the smell. As such, they are always perpetually covered in soot.
Swifstack's HA: Flame Body

I like the name, and Fur Coat is a very fitting ability!

The first form should be called Sweeft (sweep + swift). A cute name for a cute little bird.

I really like these ideas however the 2nd one is cool I don't see it really moving around or anything with its body

I imagine it doesn't really have to move too much, and if it does, it's not technically attached to the chimney, it just sits inside it.

it just seems odd it appears in a chimney out of a pokeball

I see where you're coming from. I suppose it's just an accessory to the pokemon, like Farfetch'd's leek or Dwebble's shell.

I guess but a chimney is a bit bigger than those items

Even though I can see what you mean, Crustle's rock is bigger than the rest of it's body. And when you think about Rotom's forms, you technically have a fridge or lawn mower in your PokΓ©ball.

Hah, genius! Maybe the pokΓ©dex could say something about how the latter is seen as a blessing upon one's house. I feel like I've heard that said about some kind of swift or swallow before. Maybe before humans came around, they could only reside in volcanic vents, and their range was very limited because of it. Also, perhaps something is mentioned about the way their ashy down billows and floats away like smoke when they molt.
As for names, Sootlet and Billowarble come to mind.

Not too great with names. I think CASSOWAR412 has more inventive names.

CASSOWAR412 [2014-11-08 19:40:46 +0000 UTC]
1st stage: Chickney (chick+chimney)
Chickney love to nest in chimnies, which has made them quite a pest for homeowners, especially in winter months. Because of this nesting behaviour, chickney are covered in soot and ashes.
2nd stage: Swifstack (swift+smokestack)
Swifstack have constructed chimney nests of their own, using bricks they find and their own spit as a cement of sorts. It is quite common to come across a Swifstack completely inside its chimney, since they are mostly poofy feathers, giving the illusion of a lone active chimney without a house!

White Smoke should be one of its main abilities. Solid Rock should be a Hidden Ability for the second one.
