Gustave trying to get a good look at the camera.He's a male savannah monitor (Varanus exanthematicus) and he's just the sweetest (but still nippy) thing.

Gustave understands his name and the 'no' command. He also knows that whenever I get out his red tongs, he gets mice, and whenever I get his brown bowl, he gets eggs.
