The assignment was to draw a famous person with pastels, so I drew Zubin from the awesome/wicked/bangin/stupendous/fantabulous/supercalifragiliciousexpialidocious band, TALLY HALL.
So yeah. They might not be uuuber famous, but they are to me, so that's what counts.
I'm actually pretty proud of this one, it came out pretty well.

Great Job! I had never heard of them before. So after reading your comment I went to Itunes and played samples of the Mechanical Museum album. It sounds pretty good. Also a review mentioned similarities to They Might Be Giants and XTC so thats just awesome. I think I will get that album next time I get some Itunes cards. If I end up liking it a lot I will have a huge debt of gratitude because it is hard for me to find new music I like since most popular music in my mind SUCKS. I hope you get a good grade.

Hah, thanks! Yeah, Tally Hall is a relatively unknown indie band that rock my toe socks to the core. Go to tallyhall.com and you can get samples of their stuff, not to mention more wackyshmacky videos than any mere mortal can compute.
I think they sound like a mix of The Beatles, Queen, and Dr. Demento.
Warning- once you become a Tally Hall fan, beware. We're a freaking cult.
