Greetings, for the next creature in my Godzilla Reboot fanfic, we have the first monster our lizard king faced, both in this fanfic and in the original animated series: Crustacean Rex.

This creature started out primarily as a common small squid Spirula, a mollusk that has a shell like its prehistoric ancestors, but was exposed to containers with radioactive material. You will see a few years ago, in the eighties (before it became illegal), a company dumped a lot of nuclear waste stored in containers into the ocean. The containers were specifically designed to resist the pressure of the sea, but they did not have the underwater earthquakes, which caused ruptures in the containers and their contents were released, affecting the small mollusk.

The mutation, in addition to giving him a pair of extra large limbs, gave him a voracious enomre for the tar and any creature that may be covered by it, such as his distant cousins, the giant squid who became his prey.

For fear of the new predator, the squid fled to the surface, not knowing that the new king was following them and when they arrived, both species were responsible for some disappearances of ships and crew...fortunately the creatures, including the C-REX (name that Mikey came up with), were defeated by the Kid and Godzilla team, however, the monster was not destroyed, it was secretly transported to an isolated island from the World...but that a story for another day.

Note: This Rex crustacean has the physical characteristics and abilities of the original C-REX, such as spitting tar, but I added another detail: As it is a species of squid and creature from the depths (originally, before the mutation ), I put some bioluminescent dots on his body.
