TLDR; Ailani falls somewhere on the Asexual spectrum but unlike Rotor, she's more panromantic meaning she does feel romantic feelings and gender doesn't apply to any of her chosen partner.
Even so she does engage in.. it. Mostly to show appreciation to her partners rather than a desire or need. (She's uh... very flexible..) She does enjoy the hugs, cuddles and smooches though~.
