i find it quite the opposite. had we not had imagination, most things today would not exist, therefore, we wouldnt be very knowledgeable beings, and, knowledgeable as we think we are, we aren't. In 50 years, somebody will look back at us with the same thoughts we have of those before us, and they wont understand us

haha good point but i dont think its totally true, everything is based on something that already exists, so knowing things comes first. Planes: Birds for instance, and if you dont know the water, you cant build a boat. Thats my point of view, I mean, look at the superheroes, spiderman, Spider + human + Imagination = Spiderman.
A question, have you done something out of nothing, something new, that its not based on something that already exist? I havent

sorry i think your argument is not good, You didnt choose to be born. Your parents did it, and they totally knew what they were doing
And if being born is the only thing you have done out of nothing, you re out of imagination after that? of course not, you get to know things and you use that things to create something new.
